Heatsink Kits

For applications with demanding environmental requirements, such as higher ambient temperatures or higher power dissipation, the thermal performance of the power module can be improved by attaching a heatsink. The addition of a heatsink can reduce airflow requirements, ensure consistent operation and increase system reliability. With a properly designed heatsink, the module's thermal performance can be dramatically improved due to the larger, more efficient surface area that conducts heat to the surrounding environment. With improved thermal performance, more output power capability can be provided in any environmental condition.

A wide range of heights and fin orientations of heatsinks are offered. The heatsinks are offered in up to 3 different heights and 2 fin orientations. Heatsinks come in kits, which include hardware and an attached thermal interface pad. The recommended torque value for attaching the heatsinks is 0.35-0.55Nm (3-5in-lbs).
