TDK-Lambda Americas Dallas Technical Center will meet or exceed customer expectations, and continually improve our business and our products.

ISO 9001 Certification
TDK-Lambda Americas DTC is certified to the latest edition of the ISO standard, ISO 9001:2000(E). The 2000 edition of the standard embodies eight basic quality management principles, and emphasizes the use of efficient and effective processes. TDK-Lambda DTC uses ISO certified suppliers for key supplier relationships, such as contract manufacturing. Many of our processes, such as engineering change and document control processes, are enabled with market-leading software tools that enhance process performance.

Product Realization
TDK-Lambda Americas DTC uses advanced quality planning techniques such as failure mode effects analysis (FMEA), and a formal product development process that incorporates design for X (DFX). Our years of development experience include lessons learned that contribute to robust, manufacturable designs. Design reviews, component derating guidelines, product verification, qualification, strife test, design marginality test, accelerated stress test, and reliability prediction are all components of TDK-Lambda Americas DTC's unique product development process that accomplishes our goal of providing high quality, reliable products. Stringent criteria for yield and Cpk must also be met before a product is released for volume production.

Once in production, manufacturing process control is accomplished through the use of process FMEA, process control plans, and periodic reviews. We follow accepted industry standards to resolve any customer or supplier issues quickly and effectively. TDK-Lambda Americas DTC manages its supply chain using a cross-functional team to review supplier performance and to assess improvement needs. We have also established a number of mutually beneficial supplier relationships with other industry leaders to lock in the best possible quality, reliability and technology for TDK-Lambda Americas DTC products.

All TDK-Lambda Americas DTC employees are aware of the importance of quality in our products. We apply a preventive and corrective action process to design, manufacturing, and supply chain activities. We take a process-oriented approach in all that we do, and understand the importance of closed loop feedback, both short-term and long-term.
